The Confocal and Specialized Microscopy Shared Resource provides advanced microscope systems for multidimensional optical imaging of living and fixed cells and tissues.
We offer four different modes of 3D fluorescence microscopy, in addition to conventional microscopy with fluorescence and transmitted light. Find out about our microscopes.
Our full-time managers provide assistance using the microscopes, training for independent use, and technical support. Trained in cell biology and neurobiology with many years of experience in 3D microscopy, we can help with experimental design, image acquisition, and data interpretation.
Accessories are available for live-cell studies, UV microirradiation, laser capture microdissection. Software and training are provided for image analysis, processing, and presentation.
